The unique carbon weave seen on the Bassterra Sea Bass is created by Shimano's exclusive Diaflash technology, which enhances power and strength in specific areas of the full carbon blank. In the lower section of the rod, this technology generates the power needed to cast lures to fish feeding at a distance or to maintain control when fighting fish close to rocks and other structures. In the tip section, the blank is highly responsive, making lure control more effective and fishing more enjoyable.

Available in four models with medium, medium heavy, and heavy actions, the Bassterra covers all popular lure sizes for sea bass, from the smallest 6g lures to large 60g jerkbaits and metal jigs. It is finished with Seaguide XOG stainless steel rings, a custom VSS reel seat, and a split EVA handle.
