Product details

Lifeline Classic

To prevent falling overboard unexpectedly: Proactive skippers and crew members secure themselves as soon as the seas get rough or visibility worsens. If a crew member falls while secured, the lifeline experiences extreme stress, which can weaken the material. The SECUMAR CLASSIC lifeline features a stress indicator. This is a double-stranded line that is only lightly stitched and protected by a piece of shrink tubing. In the event of overloading, the stress indicator is damaged, revealing a small flag with a warning message. At this point, the lifeline should be replaced.

The stress indicator is designed to open/break under a load of approximately 350 kg.

3-point lifeline for all SECUMAR life jackets with harness, featuring SECUMAR branding, suitable for weights starting from 50 kg, in black/orange, equipped with high-quality WICHARD stainless steel carabiners, overload indicator, approved according to DIN EN ISO 12401.
