With a warm 850+ loft 90/10 goose down filling and unique Ultra Dry Down moisture protection, along with a micro-weight 10D nylon shell and 15D lining, we have created one of the best warmth-to-weight combinations with the Spark. The Spark is an ultra-light sleeping bag particularly suited for certain activities. Its balance of size, weight, and warmth makes it an excellent summer sleeping bag, especially for weight- and space-conscious bike tours and ultralight hikes. Its size and warmth rating also work well as a liner in a second sleeping bag. The Spark compresses down so small that we had to adjust and reduce the size of the compression sacks accordingly.

The Spark is designed as a snug-fitting mummy sleeping bag. The full hood, footbox, and short zipper maximize shape and warmth while minimizing volume and weight. The Spark I features a sewn-through, cross-baffle construction. The Spark II is a hybrid design with box-shaped stitched chambers distributed over the upper body to keep the core warm, and a sewn-through construction in the legs. A draft tube is sewn over the zipper to eliminate potential cold spots in the Spark II and III. The Spark III is entirely made from box-shaped stitched chambers, including the footbox, to maintain warmth evenly. The head and neck chambers are enlarged to trap vital warmth and achieve a better EN rating down to minus 4 degrees.
