Reduced to the essentials. Even with half the number of spikes, the winter tire offers excellent control on smooth ice surfaces. Only in extreme cornering situations does its bigger brother, the Marathon Winter, outperform it. With a 50 EPI carcass, reflective stripes, and K-Guard, it provides excellent features at an entry-level price.

Active Line: The foundation of all Active Line tires is the high-quality 50 EPI carcass. Coarse 20 or 24 EPI carcasses are no longer available from Schwalbe. Additionally, K-Guard provides effective puncture protection for all Active Line tires.

TwinSkin: An additional rubber coating on the side protects against cuts and allows for uniform coloring.
