However, the outstanding feature of the Road Cruiser is in the tread and is called Green Compound. A rubber, made from renewable and recycled raw materials, which is so good that Schwalbe can use it for the first time in a conventional bicycle tire. The framework of all Active Line tires is the high-quality 50 EPI carcass. Coarse 20 or 24 EPI carcasses are no longer available from Schwalbe. In addition, the K-Guard provides effective puncture protection for all Active Line tires. An additional rubber coating on the side protects against cuts and allows for even coloring.
