Product details
Everything that enhances the fun of E-Enduro is packed into the new Hans Dampf. With widths up to 2.80, Super Gravity casing, Apex versions, and of course Addix compounds, it ensures a solid ride and maximum puncture protection on challenging trails, both uphill and downhill. Overall, significantly more aggressive, Hans Dampf remains forgiving at the limits and provides optimal feedback from the ground.
Super Gravity is fundamentally a new casing construction. The principle is familiar from motorcycle tires. Schwalbe has further developed the best aspects for MTB. In Super Gravity, the sidewalls consist of four layers of casing material, but under the tread, it is only two layers. The tire sidewalls are more stable, the tread is more flexible, and the tire is lighter. Or in one sentence: Downhill stability at Enduro weight!
The Evo tires offer a unique combination of low weight, outstanding riding characteristics, and top puncture protection.
One of the most effective inventions Schwalbe has ever made for mountain biking is the SnakeSkin fabric. A tire only becomes about 40-50 g heavier with SnakeSkin, which protects it well from contact with sharp-edged stones that can quickly slice through the sidewall of lightweight competition tires. SnakeSkin is the best choice in rough terrain!
Addix Soft is a compound that bridges many areas. It belongs to the Enduro and Downhill world as well as to demanding Allmountain and Trail riding.
Tubeless Easy is the new standard for all Evolution MTB tires. The new monofilament side fabric surpasses the previous SnakeSkin fabric in three ways: it offers even greater cut resistance, higher puncture protection, and makes tubeless conversion extremely easy and safe!.
