The Scarpa Origin is an entry-level shoe specifically designed for via ferrata enthusiasts. With a neutral last, it offers optimal comfort that remains consistent even during longer use. The upper material is made from soft, supple, metal-free leather, which not only ensures a pleasant fit but is also environmentally friendly. The double Velcro closure with an elastic loop allows for effortless entry and a personalized fit to the foot. A standout feature of the Origin is the PAF (Pressure-Absorbing-Fit) system, which evenly distributes heel tension and optimizes the fit at the heel. The 3/4-length insole made of 1.4 mm nylon supports power transfer across the entire foot, while the 4 mm Vision rubber sole provides an excellent balance between grip and durability. Weighing only 255 g per shoe (size 41), the Origin is lightweight and ideal for climbing.
