Savotta Universal chest strap

This is a replacement part or accessory for those who have a backpack without a chest strap or want to switch to a more robust option. Installation is very simple: loop the strap ends around the shoulder pads of your backpack or their attachment points, then thread the strap back through the tri-glide buckles and make a U-turn to secure it.

Why doesn't our chest strap have an elastic section? Because it really doesn't provide much benefit. When you tighten the chest strap, you stretch the elastic band, and that's it; it doesn't stretch any further. Additionally, they tend to wear out quite quickly and lose any elasticity they might have. Why not just 20 mm wide? Because a 25 mm buckle with a side opening is much easier to use, especially with thick winter gloves. Why not a sliding buckle with a split bar for attachment? This low-tech system can be used with almost any shoulder strap, making it universally compatible!
