This approach shoe features a seamless, Kevlar-reinforced Matryx upper that combines comfort for hiking with durability and high performance for climbing. The raised heel area provides excellent cushioning and landing for the heel, which is particularly noticeable on long hikes. Our revised 3F system, developed and tested in the Dolomites, wraps around the ankle and the outer side of the foot to promote flexibility while maintaining stability. The Gravity rand protects the foot from rocks and debris. Underfoot, the agile Vibram All-Terrain Megagrip outsole—designed uniquely by Salewa—ensures high precision in climbing, secure grip, and traction in any terrain, whether in wet or dry conditions. The approach shoe is also equipped with a C.F.F. (Custom Fit Footbed) Pro insole, which provides even better arch support.
