Product details

Clever performance for approach hikes with the Wildfire Edge GTX from Salewa. These approach shoes feature an upper made from a mix of suede, durable textile fabric, a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane, and a 3D EXA-Shell reinforced shaft. The 3F three-zone lacing extends far forward into the forefoot area, providing individual support for maximum precision during takeoff. The Switchfit system also allows the laces to be pulled back through an eyelet when needed, pushing the feet forward into the toe caps for improved climbing performance. An adjustable MFF+ footbed and EVA midsole provide comfortable cushioning and walking comfort.

The grippy sole ensures optimal traction on rocky surfaces. The Pomacca Speed Mtn outsole offers solid grip on rocky terrain, mud, grass, or asphalt. Inside the climbing zone, there is an Edging Plate that provides stiffness for reliable handling on easy climbing passages without compromising the rolling behavior of the rest of the sole.

Key features at a glance:

  • Comfortable and robust approach shoes
  • Abrasion-resistant upper material
  • Integrated GORE-TEX membrane
  • Cushioning midsole construction
  • Grippy Pomacca Speed Mtn outsole.
