The Sella Carbon 280 Probe is a seven-part avalanche probe made of carbon fiber, designed for ski touring and alpine climbing in winter, where low weight is crucial.

The oversized diameter of the carbon tubes ensures maximum stiffness, while the probe can be quickly assembled in an emergency thanks to the pull handle and the automatically locking steel cable. The depth markings every five centimeters indicate the probing depth. The teardrop-shaped tip allows for ideal, sensitive probing in the snow.
