Waterproof, breathable and full freedom of movement
The lightweight, fully waterproof and windproof Powertex laminate offers reliable weather protection with a water column of 20,000 millimetres. At the same time, the seams are taped and the zips are water-repellent. But the Powertex material also impresses in terms of breathability: at 20,000 g/m2/24h, the material is extremely breathable and ideal for intensive ascents. The MVTR value indicates the amount of evaporated liquid per square metre in 24 hours.

Made for winter
For a high level of comfort and additional ventilation, the ski touring trousers are equipped with side ventilation zips. Meanwhile, the integrated gaiter and the wide, width-adjustable waistband with press stud and Velcro fastener prevent snow from penetrating and ensure a good fit. Other features, such as the two zipped pockets on the thighs and the reinforced edge protection, which prevents tears caused by sharp ski edges or crampons, make the softshell trousers the ideal ski touring companion.

The technical Sella 3 Layers Powertex hardshell pants are part of the Salewa Committed collection, whose products are produced according to our additional environmental and sustainability standards and thus feature a low ecological footprint. Like all our Powertex fabrics, the material is equipped with a PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) impregnation.
