The X-Alps Cargo Shorts were designed for the 20th anniversary of the legendary and toughest hike-and-fly adventure race in the world: the Red Bull X-Alps.

Our X-Alps Cargo Shorts are specifically tailored for fast training and mountain tours, where low weight is crucial. The material combines our self-developed 123-gram lightweight 2-way Durastretch fabric (84% polyamide, 16% elastane) with a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) coating. Durastretch features an extremely tear- and abrasion-resistant yarn for high durability, while the material is easy to care for and offers maximum flexibility and comfort during high-mobility activities.

The athletic fit with an integrated gusset insert in the crotch for maximum freedom of movement, along with the adjustable waistband, makes the shorts the ideal companion for long days in the mountains – and of course, our X-Alps Cargo Shorts retain their shape even after washing and drying. Small items can be easily stored in the two front pockets or the attached cargo pockets – one with a zipper and one without – while reflective details ensure visibility in fog, rain, or twilight.
