In addition to hemp fibers, which are known for their naturally cooling properties, the main material incorporates fine polyester fibers that make the soft fabric easy to care for. The durable, highly abrasion-resistant Durastretch inserts, which contain a high percentage of elastane (89% polyamide, 11% elastane), ensure excellent stretchability and guarantee maximum freedom of movement.

The Alpine Hemp main material is the result of an extensive research and development project that emerged from close collaboration between textile engineers and experienced mountain guides. Hemp is a natural functional fiber that offers high wearing comfort and is characterized by its sustainable, resource-saving cultivation. Additionally, hemp is considered the most durable natural fiber.

The shorts feature an ergonomic, easily adjustable waistband with a snap button and belt loops, as well as a zippered fly. The legs have a regular fit. Small items can be stored in the two patch cargo pockets—one with a zipper and one open—as well as in the open back pocket with a flap.
