In addition to hemp fibers, which are known for their naturally cooling properties, fine polyester fibers are incorporated into the main material, making it easy to care for. The durable, highly abrasion-resistant Durastretch inserts with a high elastane content (11 percent) provide excellent stretchability, ensuring maximum freedom of movement.
The Alpine-Hemp main material is the result of our extensive research and development project, created through the close collaboration of our textile engineers with experienced mountain guides. Hemp is a natural functional fiber that offers high wearing comfort and is distinguished by its sustainable, resource-saving cultivation. Additionally, hemp is considered the most durable natural fiber.
The shorts feature a comfortably wide yet slim elastic waistband that can be adjusted with an internal drawstring. The fit is tailored at both the legs and the waist, providing a good fit in every situation. Small items can be stored in the zippered back pocket or the open mesh pocket on the left leg.
