A versatile additional layer. The combination of the 4-way stretch nylon outer fabric and the elastic insulation provides these shorts with outstanding stretch-fit comfort. The three-dimensional structure of the lightweight outer fabric made from elk nylon fleece offers improved breathability, elasticity, and durability, as well as optimal moisture transport. The outer fabric is also treated with a PFC-free, durable water-repellent (DWR) finish.

Intelligent insulation. The 60 g TirolWool® Responsive stretch insulation keeps you warm even when wet and also offers the benefits of thermoreactive synthetic insulation. TirolWool® is made from wool sourced from high-alpine Tyrolean mountain sheep and obtained from local farmers. Our patented Responsive technology incorporates thermoreactive minerals into synthetic yarns. These recycle the body's natural infrared energy, gradually releasing it back, resulting in increased comfort, better performance, and faster recovery.

Perfect for the mountains. Thanks to the ergonomically designed waist with stretch inserts, these shorts fit comfortably over alpine pants. The full-length side zipper not only allows for quick on and off, even with mountaineering or ski boots, but also provides maximum ventilation and easy access to the layers underneath.
