This men's hardshell pants feature a flexible, athletic fit, making them ideal for mountaineering and ice climbing. The close-fitting design combines permanently waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® Pro with strategically placed GORE-TEX® Pro Stretch inserts that guarantee you additional freedom of movement. With an intelligent lower leg construction that fits perfectly over mountaineering boots and ski touring boots, you can approach on skis, climb, and switch back to skis for the descent. The elastic gusset construction with a zipper and the snug fit prevent the pant leg from getting caught in crampons. The two-way zippers on the legs can be fully opened, allowing for optimal ventilation when needed. A higher, protective waistband with mesh inserts at the back and removable suspenders is also included.
