Salewa Ortles 3L Powertex Pants

In the Dolomites you can experience some of the most impressive high alpine routes in the world. Developed with mountain guides, the Ortles 3L Powertex pants are a waterproof, breathable solution for challenging conditions and exposed situations.

Made from our patented 3-layer Powertex weather protection fabric, the Ortles 3-layer pant gives you a balanced combination of performance, weight and durability. It is extremely waterproof, with a water column of 20,000 mm. When the going gets tough, the breathable membrane (20,000 g/m2/24h) wicks away water vapour to keep you comfortable. The sporty fit includes a gusset in the crotch for full freedom of movement and ergonomically pre-shaped knee sections. The close-fitting lower leg and silicone grippers ensure a good fit over your mountain boots (or ski boots) and keep the cuffs securely where they belong, minimising the risk of getting your crampons tangled in the pants.

These pants are a Salewa Committed product with an environmentally friendly PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) coating and are manufactured according to additional, strict and independently audited environmental and social standards.
