The Mountain Trainer Mid GTX® is a lightweight trekking boot for men, made of durable suede and abrasion-resistant textile material with a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® lining. The boot meets the demands of both ascending and descending mixed and technical terrain. For this, the Mountain Trainer Mid GTX uses a new midsole with Bilight technology. It is double-layered for high cushioning and ergonomically shaped - for good grip in the shoe and reliable wearing comfort even on long hikes. In the ankle area, the Flex Collar allows increased freedom of movement to the rear and thus a lot of comfort on the descent, even with a heavy pack. The lightweight, firm Vibram® Wrapping Thread Combi (WTC) outsole provides a stable yet natural walking feel. The patented SALEWA 3F system provides flexibility, heel hold and a blister-free fit from the start. The GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort lining provides optimal weather protection and climate comfort.
