Salewa Mountain Trainer Lite Mid GORE-TEX® hiking boots

The MTN Trainer Lite Mid is a comfortable, supportive, mid-cut boot for three seasons that is ideal for rock and technical terrain. More weight means more energy expenditure. We reduce the weight by using a lightweight but extremely durable textile upper with suede inserts. The waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining also makes this boot ideal for use in the mountains during three seasons - from higher activity levels in summer to rain, mud or persistent snow.

The fit characterises every boot. Our mid-height boot last construction provides ample room for your toes and all-day comfort and support with the optimum amount of flexibility. At the heart of the boot is the EVA midsole, which provides ideal shock absorption and rebound. For added stability and extra protection, the shoe is equipped with a flexible ankle collar, a heel stabiliser and a rubber toe cap.

Underfoot, the outsole guarantees reliable grip thanks to the Pomoco rubber compound and tread pattern with deep lugs and notches, as well as the versatility to be used on a variety of terrain types, from mud and grass to rock, ice and snow. The climbing shoe lacing system, which extends directly to the toe, allows easy adjustment for greater precision on technical terrain or a more relaxed feel.
