The rugged synthetic upper ensures optimal durability, while the waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining protects against rain and surface water, allowing water vapor to escape and keep your feet feeling dry and comfortable. The unique construction is designed over a special last to provide a perfect fit and the optimal combination of flexibility and support. This shoe also features SALEWA's proprietary 3F system that connects the upper, sole and heel. Inside the shoe is a shock-absorbing EVA midsole for durable rebound. It also features a flexible ankle shank and rubber toe cap for added protection. Underfoot, the rugged outsole ensures reliable grip thanks to the Pomoco rubber compound and tread pattern with deep lugs and notches. The sole provides the necessary versatility for different types of terrain - from mud and grass to rock, ice and snow. The climbing shoe lacing system to the toe area allows greater precision on technical terrain.
