Our most technical softshell trousers for men are not only suitable for alpine climbing on rugged rock faces, but also for alpine mountain tours in stable weather conditions.

Our versatile, hard-wearing Durastretch fabric is used in the Orval Pants. With their 4-way stretch material and ergonomic fit with pre-shaped knees, these softshell trousers are designed for climbing and offer complete freedom of movement on even the most demanding of climbs. The trousers have a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) coating for light weather protection.

The athletic cut with straight-cut trouser legs scores just as highly when mountaineering as when approaching the wall. In addition, the fit leaves the smallest steps on the wall visible to enable precise footwork when climbing. The waistband with belt loops, press stud and zip at the fly sits perfectly under the climbing harness and ensures a secure fit. The reinforced, cut-resistant inserts on the inside of the leg cuffs also guarantee additional protection against sharp rock edges and abrasion from scree. Small items such as a bar or topo can be stowed in the zip pockets.
