Our most technical softshell pants for men are not only suitable for alpine climbing on rugged rock faces but also for alpine mountain tours in stable weather conditions.

The Orval Pants feature our versatile, durable Durastretch fabric. With its 4-way stretch material and ergonomic fit with pre-shaped knee areas, these softshell pants are designed specifically for climbing, providing complete freedom of movement for even the most demanding climbing moves. For light weather protection, the pants are equipped with a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) coating.

The athletic cut with straight-cut legs is advantageous for both mountaineering and the approach to the wall. Additionally, the fit allows for clear visibility of small footholds on the wall, enabling precise footwork while climbing. The waistband, equipped with belt loops, a snap button, and a zipper at the fly, sits perfectly under the climbing harness, ensuring a secure fit. The reinforced, cut-resistant inserts on the inside of the leg openings also provide extra protection against sharp rock edges and abrasion from scree. Small items like snacks or a topo can be stored in the zippered pockets.
