Developed and constructed in the wind tunnel in collaboration with top aerodynamic experts from Swiss Side, the new Nytron combines ultimate safety and astonishing aerodynamic performance with a compact and lightweight design. Thanks to the scientific combination of massive air vents and internally directed channels, the fantastic Nytron ventilation keeps the rider's head cool and lowers body temperature, thereby enhancing overall performance. The Nytron exceeds the testing protocols of Rudy Project. The rotational impact test is a protocol adopted by Rudy Project in collaboration with accredited bodies to test and measure helmet performance against rotational impacts.

The ventilation makes the Nytron a game changer in the aero road helmet category. Numerous scientific studies show that cooling the head boosts performance by significantly reducing the negative effects of rising core body temperature. For this reason, the Nytron was designed to combine ultimate aerodynamic performance with the best possible ventilation. Intensive wind tunnel tests have proven that the fifteen scientifically configured ventilation openings and internally directed airflow channels of the Nytron ensure unparalleled ventilation regardless of the rider's position.

The in-mold technology allows the outer polycarbonate shell to be directly molded with expandable polystyrene (EPS) during the injection phase of the impact-absorbing foam. The result is a much stiffer structure that is impact-resistant and extremely lightweight, enabling a better ventilation system.
