The Rottefella Freedom with a 110 mm brake is lighter than a traditional telemark binding, weighing less than 1500 g per pair. The very low resistance in walk mode is combined with a large angle of 60°, making it easier than ever to ascend the most beautiful peaks. Additionally, the new binding features two climbing aids, 35 mm and 65 mm. The brake and release mechanism function the same as in freeride bindings.
