Product details
The Escaper 87 is the perfect introduction to ski touring and a stepping stone to the next level of skiing. It offers the best balance of lightness, versatility, durability, easy handling, and value. The light construction, based on a paulownia wood core and a bow with the legendary Air Tip technology, ensures great versatility and lightness while climbing and agility during descents. Air Tip technology reduces weight in the tips and concentrates the ski's mass under the feet. Combined with the Free rocker, they ensure easy maneuverability, natural floating on the snow surface, and full control.
The high-quality sandwich construction with a lightweight paulownia wooden core reduces the weight by 30%, which translates into increased agility, maneuverability, and control on skis. The application of Carbon Stringer technology, with platforms made of carbon rails under the binding, provides balanced hardness and strength, translating into grip along the entire length of the ski. In combination with a rectangular side wall running along the entire length of the ski, this gives a balanced effect of perfect edge grip and precision when descending.
These skis handle great and feature a V-skin cutout on the bow for quick attachment of skins. Dedicated, pre-cut Blackops skins can be found in our store. The skins are manufactured by the renowned Pomoca company and are made of a blend of 70% Mohair and 30% Nylon. With a length of 175 cm, the skis weigh 2.86 kg per pair.
