Weighing only 220 grams per wheel (including bearings), the Root wheels are among the lightest wheels ever available on the market. This is thanks to the use of high-quality aluminum 6061 and a unique construction.
The Air wheels from Root are manufactured using Hollowcore technology. This essentially involves air being trapped in the core between two sturdy aluminum plates. This not only allows for a lightweight design but also makes them very durable.
The PU formula used by Root has quickly become a favorite among many professional riders. It makes the wheel super fast and stable.
