Most 4-bolt MTB cranksets, such as Shimano, Truvativ, Raceface, etc., which are designed for 24/27 speeds, adhere to this standard. Many cyclists often find the standard chainring ratios too large, making the gear ratio too strenuous during climbs or everyday use. For this reason, we at Reverse Components are one of the few manufacturers offering smaller ratios as an upgrade. The Reverse chainrings are particularly well-suited for the Enduro and Cross-Country disciplines. The advantages come from their minimal weight and maximum stability.
