Most 4-bolt MTB cranks, such as Shimano, Truvativ, Raceface, etc., which are designed for 24/27 speeds, follow this standard. Often, many cyclists find the standard chainring ratios too large, making the gearing too strenuous for climbing hills or even for everyday use. For this reason, we at Reverse Components are one of the few manufacturers offering smaller gear ratios as an upgrade. The Reverse chainrings are particularly well-suited for the Enduro and Cross-Country sectors. The advantages lie in their minimal weight and maximum stability.
