purchased this productWe have bought this carrier for a VW T5 Mu...
We bought this carrier for a VW T5 Multivan as an alternative to the original VW bicycle carrier. Our conclusion after two weeks of holiday:
+ Assembly: easy
+ Assembly/disassembly on trailer coupling: ingenious, quick and easy (also possible alone, without help, despite the weight of the carrier)
+ Folding device: super practical, even with the VW T5 Multivan the tailgate can be opened this way, even with a fully loaded carrier (!) - barely, but it works! Access to the luggage compartment is thus quite comfortable.
+ Mounting the bikes: good, a bit fiddly with complicated Fully frames, but that won't be any different with other carriers.
+ In contrast to the original bicycle carrier offered by VW for the T5, there is no risk of damage to the paintwork of the tailgate and no increase in the overall height of the vehicle, i.e. with a bit of skill you can still drive into an underground garage with a height of 2.00 m (be careful when parking as it is too long!).
+ The carrier is cheaper than the original carrier
- The only minus point we could perhaps add is the appearance. The original carrier looks a little better.
Conclusion: Definitely a top choice for vehicles with a trailer coupling!

The product was offered at an extremely low price that does not exist. Galaxus should check their suppliers' offers better.
