The Racer E-Cover, a heated pair of overshoes, is arguably the most sensible upgrade for anyone looking to stay on their bike during the cold months. The softshell neoprene overshoe has a relatively slim profile and features a 2,200 mAh Li-Ion battery, which provides up to six hours of continuous operation. Optionally, up to two batteries per shoe can be used, keeping the feet warm for up to 12 hours. The heating zone of the overshoe is located in the toe area, focusing on the parts of the foot most exposed to wind and weather. Here, the rider can choose between four different heat intensity modes. A built-in microprocessor manages the temperature, preventing continuous heating and thereby increasing battery life and efficiency. Clever features such as reflective logos for increased visibility, a waterproof zipper at the back for added comfort when putting them on, and compatibility with 99% of shoe models available on the market complete the overall package.
