The Ionosphere 5 by Rab is a thermo mat that allows you to enjoy restful sleep even under harsh conditions. It is suitable for mountain expeditions or trekking tours in low temperatures. It combines the comfort of an air mattress with outstanding insulation. With an R-value of 4.8, it provides effective thermal insulation down to -5 degrees Celsius. Additionally, weighing only 475 grams, it is an ultralight mat that compresses exceptionally well. It is an essential piece of gear for adventures with heavy luggage.
Reflects Body Heat Back
To keep you warm in winter temperatures, Rab uses Stratus-R insulation made from recycled polyester. Furthermore, the brand treats the material with special TILT technology. This allows the mat to reflect heat back to your body. This treatment, which is also used in the construction of sleeping bags, significantly reduces heat loss.
Pump Sack Included
Included in the package is a pump sack that allows you to quickly and hygienically inflate the mat to a comfortable height of eight centimeters. A roll-up storage sack and a repair kit are also included.
