The knee area is slightly pre-shaped and, combined with the gusset insert, provides full freedom of movement to tackle steep trails, challenging terrain, or deep snow. With its regular fit, the Firewall Mountain Pants can be comfortably worn over hiking pants. The partially elastic waistband with drawstring allows for adjustable width according to personal needs. The full-length side zipper with three sliders makes it easy to put on and take off, even with bulky trekking shoes, and can also be used for ventilation. The drawstring at the ankle keeps the Rab rain pants in place even in strong winds and during vigorous movement.
