Product details
The Rab Alpine 400 is specifically designed for mountain adventures, whether they take place in the high Alps or deep in the Himalayas, whether on foot or in the saddle of a bike. This sleeping bag offers an excellent balance of warmth to weight and a streamlined design that is ideal for mountain excursions in spring. It is filled with 400 g of duck down with a fill power of 650 cuin and features a wind-resistant Pertex® Quantum outer fabric with recycled nylon lining. The sophisticated construction of the Alpine down sleeping bag ensures maximum thermal performance. The trapezoidal box wall chamber design allows for full expansion of the down, minimizing cold spots and maximizing warmth. The herringbone chamber construction enhances down stability and evenly envelops the entire body. The openings of the sleeping bag are designed to minimize heat loss. The adjustable 3D down collar keeps warmth in, and a down-filled draft collar along the zipper prevents heat loss. Thanks to its narrow mummy shape and angled foot area, the Alpine is not unnecessarily bulky and heavy, providing a comfortable sleeping environment. Each sleeping bag is hand-filled with down in the UK, with the down not being compressed before use to maintain its loft and warmth. The Alpine, with its slim, women-specific mummy shape and angled foot area, is not unnecessarily voluminous and heavy, yet ensures a pleasant night's sleep.
