If you have a towbar on your car, it will most likely be compatible. The best thing to do is to go to the Thule website and see if they say anything about your vehicle. Normally there is no reason why it shouldn't be as it is standardised. On my Audi SQ5 with the original removable tow bar it is ok.
The bike carrier fits the VW T6 California with trailer coupling and is designed so that the tailgate can still be opened even with three loaded bikes. It can be folded down, allowing access to the boot without having to unload the bikes.
The EasyFold XT 3 is designed to carry a maximum of 3 bikes with a total load capacity of 60 kg. It does not support an add-on for a 4th bike. It is compatible with the ABUS lock system as it features lockable bike-to-rack and rack-to-vehicle functions, and is One Key System compatible. However, there is no official add-on for a 4th bike for this model.
The Thule EasyFold XT 3 bike carrier is designed to transport up to 3 bikes as standard and there is no official extension or adapter from Thule to extend it to 4 bikes.
A similar model, the Thule VeloSpace XT, can be extended to 4 bikes with an adapter, but this does not apply to the EasyFold XT 3, so an extension of the EasyFold XT 3 to 4 bikes with an adapter is not intended or officially supported.
Yes, compatible; the so-called "fix4bike" ball joints have 2 lugs on the underside of the ball joint (for greater stability), but require a specific "fix4bike" mounting.
The Thule EasyFold XT 3 bike carrier is designed to be mounted on a tow bar, so it should be compatible with the electrically removable tow bar on your 2018 Ford Kuga ST-Line, provided that the tow bar meets the mounting standards of the bike carrier. Please ensure that the total weight of the bicycles does not exceed the maximum load of 60 kg. To confirm specific compatibility, I recommend you consult the official Thule website or contact an authorised Thule dealer.
I'm regretting it, but I don't know. But in fact, I've already had the bike rack fitted to several removable trailer hitches (Opel, Volkswagen) and it's always worked.
The bike trailer fits any towbar with a ball.
But I don't quite understand what you mean by spare wheel adapter and New Defender.
By New Defender do you mean the Land Rover vehicle model?

The only difference is the colour, the black one has everything in black, the other one is in aluminium/black.
I have the normal one and everything is included. As far as I know, the bag is only an accessory.
The main differences between the EasyFold and the EasyFold XT are:
- The EasyFold XT accommodates bikes with tires up to 3 inches wide, while the EasyFold supports tires only up to 2.5 inches wide.
- The EasyFold XT has an integrated ramp that folds up, whereas the EasyFold has a removable ramp.
- The EasyFold XT includes wheels for easier movement of the carrier, which weighs about 50 lbs.
- The EasyFold XT is a newer, improved version of the original EasyFold with these enhanced features.
Regarding the EasyFold XT 3 specifically, compared to the EasyFold XT 2:
- The EasyFold XT 3 carries 3 bikes, while the XT 2 carries 2.
- The XT 3 is heavier (23.1 kg vs. 17.9 kg) and wider (83 cm vs. 63 cm).
- Both have a maximum load capacity of 60 kg and similar features like taillights and 13-pin connectors.
- The XT 3 offers a smart foot pedal with topple feature for easy boot access, which is not on the XT 2.
In summary, the EasyFold XT is an upgraded version of the EasyFold with better tire compatibility, integrated ramp, and wheels, and the XT 3 variant adds capacity for 3 bikes and some size and feature enhancements over the XT 2.
The tow bar is compatible with a wide range of bicycles and electric bikes, supporting up to 3 bikes with a maximum weight of 30 kg per bike and a total load of 60 kg. It accepts frames from 22 to 80 mm in diameter and wheels up to 29 inches, with a maximum tyre width of 3 inches (up to 4.7 inches with special straps). It is equipped with an anti-theft system and rear lights, and allows access to the boot even with loaded bikes.
For compatibility with a Peugeot E-3008, check that the vehicle has a tow bar compatible with this type of bike carrier. This model is designed to fit a standard 2-inch (50 mm) towbar, which is common on SUVs like the Peugeot E-3008. For accurate confirmation, we recommend using the compatibility configurator on the official Thule manufacturer's website, entering the exact details of the vehicle. In general, this bike carrier is compatible with most vehicles fitted with a standard towbar, including SUVs like the Peugeot E-3008.
Hello together
What is the difference between the two Easyfold XT 3? It is not clear from the descriptions. The difference is of course the price but why?
This one costs 749.- and the other 899.- ? It is clear that the Easyfold XT F 3 costs more because of the special clutch, but the two in question are identical and yet have different prices. Especially the 749.- does not say that this bike carrier is foldable.
Comparison Easyfold XT 3 : https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s3/product/thule-easyfold-xt-3-velotraeger-18304050 (899.-)
I would be happy if I could get an answer from Galaxus.
Thanks in advance
