At the moment, both cost the same. We generally work with daily prices, so there may be price changes / fluctuations.
I can't tell you. I bought this tent for multi-day hikes and am totally satisfied. The only "flaw" is the thin floor, so we recommend a footprint (ground sheet) for the tent. However, you have to save material somehow to get to the really low weight.
Conclusion:
Ideally suited for multi-day tours and off-road bivouacs in good weather.
It can withstand light drizzle (ground sheet recommended).
For heavy rain, I would go for a stronger, heavier tent.

Yes, unless I am mistaken. I don't think they have released a "new" version since this edition. I ordered it a few months ago and it's really great, good quality etc.

The new American 2019 version with Easton poles and Xtreme Shield coating is not yet officially available in Europe.
