There is no ACX3 30-D model. The following models are available on the market: ACX3 30 30 mbar ACX3 30 50 mbar ACX3 40 30 mbar ACX3 40 50 mbar ACX3 40G gas cartridge I assume someone has used the manufacturer's article number as the model name. D probably stands for Dometic. So ACX 3 30 and ACX 3 30-D would be the same thing. There is something wrong with the item ACX 3 30-D anyway, it is also much more expensive. I assume it's a generic product in the range. When ordering, make sure the gas pressure is 30 or 50 mbar. This second most important point is not properly declared (if at all).

The main technical difference between the Dometic CombiCool ACX3 40 and the ACX3 40G lies in the type of gas operation: The ACX3 40 can be operated with 12V, 230V and gas, but uses gas via a fixed gas cylinder with a higher gas pressure of 50 mbar. The ACX3 40G offers the added flexibility of also working with gas cartridges (220g), making it ideal for mobile employees when a larger gas cylinder cannot be used. It has an integrated holder for these cartridges and only requires 30 mbar gas pressure.

Hello jael_taennler, it is not possible to connect a large gas bottle. In fact, you can only connect cartridges, which achieve a very good cooling performance. The only other option is to use an adapter that works.
