Yes, this compressor cooler can be connected to a solar panel as it is powered by 12 V DC. It is designed for a 12/24 V DC power supply, which allows it to be connected to solar panels with a corresponding battery and voltage regulation. The cooler employs a compressor and has a moderate power consumption, which makes it suitable for mobile use with solar power. Please note that a suitable battery and charge controller are required for operation with a solar panel to ensure a stable power supply.

The main difference between the "Cff (44 l)" product and the Dometic CFF 45 Compressor lies in the very similar designation and technical details: both have a volume of around 44 litres, operate with a compressor, and have similar characteristics in terms of dimensions, weight (around 18.6 to 18.9 kg), and cooling temperature range (from +20 °C to -18 °C). The CFF 45 is often presented as an economical, portable version with a double lid, dimmable LED display, and good insulation for moderate energy consumption. The price of 427 Swiss francs is for the CFF 45 model, which is very similar to the Cff (44 l) in terms of technical specifications. In short, it's essentially the same type of compressor cooler with a 44-litre capacity. The difference may come from a slight variation in the commercial presentation or the accessories included, but not in the technology or main performance.

It is a 44-litre cool box. The volume is confirmed both in the internal product data and in the official manufacturer's specifications.

Yes, I think so. I ordered the EU version, the box was opened and the cable replaced before it got to me. So there's no reason to buy the much more expensive CH version...

I thought Digitec supplied the appropriate Swiss cable at the time, but I'm no longer sure. But even if not, you can use a normal device cable from a PC or something. There are usually plenty of them lying around anyway. Lindy power cable IEC 3m - IEC320 C13 - 30418 (3 m)
