With the engine on, idling it depends on how much energy the battery needs to provide to other electronics such as AC, lights etc. If those are turned off then you should be fine dependin on the age of the battery and its mAh. While idling the alternator will still charge the battery however if there are too many electronics on then the battery will slowly drain. It is quite difficult to calculate the exact time as this depends on a multitude of factors such as the car(EV, Hy, etc)car's age, the alternator, the battery its mAh, electronics, etc, etc, etc. Personally I wouldn't use this as a small "fridge" using the engine as a generator as it's not feasible however in an extreme situation things would be different....
