The Campingaz Bistro 3 stove (2000038753) works exclusively with Campingaz CP 250 cartridges. QUECHUA cartridges are not listed as compatible in the official information available. For optimum compatibility, we recommend using the cartridges specified by the manufacturer. If QUECHUA cartridges use a valve system similar to the CP 250, check their compatibility via the product technical specifications or contact Decathlon customer service for confirmation. Campingaz stoves with valves generally require specific cartridges. If in doubt, use Campingaz CP 250 cartridges to avoid any risk of incompatibility.

Helpful answer

The Hendi gas cartridges do not automatically fit in the Campingaz Camp Bistro 3. The cooker is designed for CP 250 cartridges from the manufacturer Campingaz. It is important to use the correct cartridges to ensure the safety and functionality of the cooker.

I also bought a Campingaz Bistro DLX SG and used my wool cast iron pan a few times, which is normally used on induction. As far as I can tell, the flame has left no visible residue or damage and works fine. Same when cooking with a Cucina & Tavola saucepan. Guess you just have to (as with induction) always check beforehand if it is also suitable for gas, you can see that marked on the bottom of almost all pans and pots, as well as the care after each use. I'm very satisfied so far (about 10-15 times cooking with it).
