The hanging cheek bit is a fixed cheek bit that promotes flexion, making it particularly useful for horses with a high head carriage. It can also be beneficial for horses that are unsure of the bit, as mouth movement is limited.

The double-jointed mouthpiece with a brass alloy pad distributes pressure evenly over the tongue and mouth bars while promoting salivation and helping the horse to calm and focus. The soft blue iron oxidizes easily, creating a warm feeling and sweet taste in the horse's mouth, aiding in bit acceptance. Please note that the blue color will fade with use, which is normal.

A = 13mm
B = 100mm

3. Allow to dry naturally.
