The diamond in the center of this bit conforms to the shape of the tongue and helps to reduce the nutcracker action of a single-jointed bit, which aids in forming a soft contact and allows for clear rein aids. Copper is a warm metal that encourages salivation and biting on the bit, making it useful for horses that tend to lean on the rider's hands.

Hollow-bottom cheeks are fixed, providing greater stability and are recommended for horses that are unsure of their bit. Made of stainless steel, the most commonly used material for horse bits, it is durable, easy to clean, tasteless, and will not rust. This bit is a great all-around option suitable for many horses.

Measurements: According to our size guide, the A and B measurements for this bit are as follows: 4.5" - A=14mm & B=55mm; 5" to 6" - A=14mm & B=75mm.
