Poc Skull Orbic Comp Spin
51 - 54 cm, S, XSProduct details
The FIS-approved racing helmet Skull Orbic Comp Spin takes high speeds, angled falls, and repeated impact protection to a new level. The patented deflector panel uses a combination of technologies, EPP and VPD 2.0, to minimize the energy transferred to a skier's head from repeated impacts with gates or during a fall. The deflector panel is additionally reinforced with an Aramid Penetration Barrier (APB), enhancing the safety and integrity of the helmet. With Poc's patented rotational impact protection system, Spin, the internal shear pads reduce the effects of an angled fall by decreasing the force transmitted to the head and brain. SPIN works by allowing the pads placed in the helmet to shear in any direction upon an angled impact, a process inspired by the brain's natural protective system, the cerebrospinal fluid, which cushions the head during a fall. By using innovative and unique pad technology that sits directly on the user's head, the Spin pads allow the helmet to move relative to the head during a fall, thereby reducing the force transmitted to the brain. The Skull Orbic Comp Spin also features ear cups designed to enhance balance and hearing without compromising safety and fit.
