The Skull Dura Comp SPIN ski racing helmet offers certified protection and is designed for a fit that minimizes distractions at the highest speeds achieved by ski racers. The helmet features the new Fit technology Race Lock. This innovative system ensures that ski racers can secure the helmet tightly to their head, reducing vibrations at the very high speeds of elite racing. The Race Lock dial technology is designed so that the adjustment system does not interfere with the racing position. It fits perfectly to the helmet shell and can be adjusted while wearing gloves, allowing you to optimize your fit in the start gate just before a race run. The Skull Dura Comp ski racing helmet is certified according to FIS RH 2013. Safety features of the helmet include a VPD impact shield (viscoelastic polymer dough) to protect against repeated impacts. VPD can absorb and dissipate impact forces repeatedly without losing its protective properties. The helmet also includes an aramid penetration protection and a multi-impact EPP inner shell. The ear pads are removable, making it easier for medical personnel to safely remove the helmet in case of an injury. Additional features include a Fidlock buckle that can be operated with gloves, SPIN silicone padding technology, and a secure goggle clip. The helmet is compatible with the Poc Maxilla Breakaway chin guard.
