New SLR196 Life Jacket: a unique design technology. Following the success of the SL 180, Plastimo now introduces its successor: the SLR 196 is more performance-oriented than ever. A concentration of functionalities conceived by sailing experts and developed thanks to Plastimo's research and development team. An exclusive bladder with an ergonomic neck support ensures improved comfort and higher freeboard. Developed with the participation of François Gabart, skipper of the trimaran SVR Lazartigue, and Kevin Escoffier.

The lightweight and comfortable SLR196 life jacket with 196 N of buoyancy is full of innovations focused on safety and comfort. The combination of optimal flexibility, low weight, and performance is made possible by the polyurethane film air chamber technology. This makes it easy to put on and adjustable. It feels like a piece of clothing – you simply forget you’re wearing it! Approved as a 150 N category with an actual buoyancy of 196 N. Lightweight: 1.1 kg (dry), 1.2 kg (wet).

The 3D Fit mesh back panel enhances comfort and breathability. The soft casing features a QBZ zipper. The life jacket can be triggered automatically or hydrostatically. Integrated design handle 'Easy Release System'. Neoprene design and comfort neck support. The release and control valve system allows for air to be released in an emergency.
