The outstanding all-weather performance is achieved through the combination of two new technologies: the SmartEVO compound, the latest development in Pirelli's road-specific compounds, and the TechBELT Road, a tube-like casing made from a 120tpi casing and a nylon breaker. The tire also features a new design: special deep grooves are paired with a thicker tread, resulting in improved grip in cold weather, higher mileage, and better puncture protection.
