Perlmutt-Spangen Absorber rubber for deep-sea downrigger and underwater dog

I use this absorber rubber when trolling with deep-sea or downrigger weights and with the underwater dog. I attach the absorber rubber directly between the weight or underwater dog and the deep-sea line. This absorber rubber minimizes excessive pulling forces to a minimum. No more hard impacts on the deep-sea reel or downrigger. The absorber rubber also relieves the shocks on the deep-sea line and the reel brake, allowing for the use of a thinner deep-sea line while trolling. The thinner the deep-sea line that can be chosen, the greater the depths that can be reached with less weight. Additionally, the spooking effect on sensitive trout is better with a thinner deep-sea line. If the weight reaches the bottom, it often prevents an immediate line break.
