The strongest version of the GravelKing SK now features even better puncture resistance, thanks to the use of ProTite Shield Plus, designed to withstand tough conditions. Developed with the ZSG compound to enhance durability and wear resistance. A lightweight, ultra-thin Ax-Alpha Cord has been used to make it even lighter.
ZSG Natural Compound: This compound has the same low rolling resistance as the premium compound. Its increased wear resistance makes it perfect for a long-lasting training tire with excellent handling.
Advanced Extra Alpha Cord: The AX technology uses an extremely narrow cord that is woven into the casing with a very high density to ensure lightness and flexibility. This increased density enhances resistance to cuts and abrasions.
ProTite Shield Plus: Ultra-strong reinforcement material is wrapped around the entire tire, with the tread lined with nylon taffeta to provide additional protection against side cuts as well as punctures from dented rims.
PR (Puncture Resistant) Belt: The PR Belt is a puncture-proof belt that is placed under the tread. It is lightweight and uses a strong fiber composition to achieve its puncture resistance.

The lightweight Panaracer tyre offers low rolling resistance for a relatively low price. Especially on less rugged surfaces, the Gravel King is very agile and saves energy. However, the puncture protection could be even better. The tyre was tested with sealing milk.
