It is supposed to provide compression, which was not noticeable in practice, but the less woollen skin feel was. But the tick and mosquito protection works very well.
Pleasant feel and attractive design. The hem is elasticated, but leaves pressure points on pronounced calves. Minimal compression effect on the midfoot. Hiking socks for short hikes. According to the manufacturer, the sock has an anti-tick effect.
