Perfect gloves for intensive Muay Thai boxers for grappling techniques and blocking. Typical Muay Thai gloves made from thick, triple-density foam, with side reinforcement and a short wrist cuff for greater flexibility. Muay Thai is a specific boxing discipline: grappling and throwing techniques are allowed during fights. Therefore, it is common for boxers to grapple around the upper body or neck. To facilitate grappling, the gloves need to be soft and flexible. The layered construction of the foam allows for easier opening and closing of the hand. Additionally, the very short cuff enables easier bending of the wrist. To ensure a good fit for your hand, the boxing gloves come in various sizes. These sizes are more related to your body type than to your hand size.

Women:
45 to 55 kg -> 10 oz.
55 to 65 kg -> 12 oz.
65 to 75 kg -> 14 oz.
Over 75 kg -> 16 oz.

Men:
55 to 65 kg -> 10 oz.
65 to 80 kg -> 12 oz.
80 to 95 kg -> 14 oz.

These Muay Thai gloves were developed in collaboration with the teams from DECATHLON Thailand to optimally meet the demands of Thai boxing. We tested and validated them together with advanced Muay Thai boxers in France and Thailand. To limit unpleasant odors and moisture, you should use hand wraps or inner gloves. These are easy to put on and wash, and they help prolong the life of your gloves by reducing unpleasant odors. You can also use glove dryers to ensure the gloves dry well between training sessions. By airing out your gloves, you will experience fewer unpleasant odors caused by moisture.
